Ten-Tec MODEL 594 PHOENIX - First 100pcs batch update 23Jul25

Ten-Tec MODEL 594 PHOENIX - First 100pcs batch update 23Jul25

Displays finally arrived from the factory to Dayton! So, you can see the repaired Dayton unit, and also the box of 100 displays for our new Phoenix transceiver.

On another picture is the test jig with one of the displays under test, and that flat PCB in the background is the display carrier board which is going to be assembled here on the new production line.

Speaking of building here, a big part of last week was getting some new production equipment to run which I’ve had several years and not used. Now I need it because of the level of precision needed for Phoenix boards. I’m pleased to say the vision screen printer worked fine.

Konstantin is closing out 5-10-15 issues a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. The team of QA / testers (I think 5+ of them) are still beating this thing up, using it in various operational styles/modes/etc.

Some of you don’t know but John Henry and Konstantin have been working together on some software issues and made some nice improvements. What a blessing it is to have John Henry involved.  It’s a real Ten Tec folks with some Ten Tec SOFTWARE in it now as well as hardware via me in Ohio.

I am able to order these in part thank you to the PHOENIX CLUB members. I want you to see your deposits at work. A big THANK YOU to those who have joined. We aren’t there yet. We have a way to go towards filling all the slots, so if you are on the fence, now is always a good time.
